CUMBRIA CLASSIC COACHES is a small, friendly family business specialising in running classic half cab buses and coaches as well as 1930’s cars, based in Ravenstonedale Cumbria.

The buses are operated on routes in the Yorkshire Dales as well as private hires such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc.

The vehicles are based at Bowber Head where other thriving family businesses are in operation. There is a small caravan and camping site and bed & breakfast is offered in the comfortable family home.

RAVEN GRAPHICS, specialising in computer cut vinyl graphics, including banners, vinyls for commercial vehicles and destination blinds, are also part of the family empire.

PENN LANE PUBLICATIONS produces limited edition transport histories and enthusiast titles, mostly relating to North-East Derbyshire although titles covering other areas and subjects are being planned.

The writer, photographer and transport enthusiast Paul Smith, who grew up in Bolsover Derbyshire, was inspired by the local transport operators he encountered from an early age and has been a regular contributor to various transport and heritage related periodicals including, Classic Bus, Bus & Coach Preservation, Best of British and most recently, in what is probably a ‘first’ for a public transport writer, Classic Massey tractor magazine.

Since 1989 PMP FILMS have produced around 2000 transport hobby films. Most run 60 minutes or more. Click on advertisement for our website with searchable list and links to shop and clips on Youtube. The films are mostly of the transport items described with no added sounds other than vehicle noise on old silent cine derived items. The films are run off to order, with so many to offer we don't keep shelf stocks so your copy will be unique and brand new. We cover Buses, Trams, Trolleybuses and Trucks, there are a few other offerings all on the list.

If you have a passion for buses or railways (or both) you're going to love what's on offer. For years, TERMINUS PUBLICATIONS proprietor Roger Kaye has photographed and filmed public transport in action, taking advantage of the most up-to-date technology. So, click on the advert for our website and . . . browse, buy and enjoy! You may also find him on Chesterfield market every Thursday (not last Thursday August 2010).

BUS & COACH PRESERVATION is a lively magazine giving the best possible all-round coverage of all that's happening with old buses today, with news and views of vehicle restoration, old buses and coaches that need to be saved for posterity, news of museums, groups and individual preservationists and coverage of events . . . and more! PRESBUS PUBLISHING produce a wide range of road transport books supplied direct post free. Click on our advert to find out more on our website.
